Week 3 September 2013: Rain = 30millimetres. Very welcome rainfall. Topped up our house tank and freshened the garden. During the week we had rain all of one day. This has not happened for ages.

Plenty of rooted cuttings potted on this week including: Grevillea Sunrise, Leptospermum Rudolph, Grevillea iascapula and Myoporum floribundum. Our propagating unit is working very well.

We have a loquat tree growing near our plastic house. This week we noticed the loquat fruit are ripening.

Digging holes and planting continued this week. Ten plants found homes in our Northern Garden.

We have a Xanthorrhea (Grass Tree) near the house. This week we noticed that a flower spike is developing from the centre of the plant.
