Week 3 June 2013:   Rain = 3.5 millimetres

There was an interesting wildlife sighting this week. One morning three Red-necked Wallabies were on the lawn near our front verandah. They are usually solitary animals. This is the first time that we have sighted three together. There were two adults and a joey.

A few weeks ago we planted three Scarlet Runner bean seeds in the propagating unit. They germinated and one morning we potted them on. They are also known as Eight Year Beans. They die down in winter and bound back in spring. Plants are climbers and produce large numbers of pods. We also potted on struck cuttings of Grevillea Lady O and Kunzea bracteolata.

We also spent time weeding and pruning.
