We received lots of very welcome rain. Our house tank was filled to overflowing and the gardens were refreshed.
There was a horticultural surprise in one of our gardens this week. A Melaleuca cardiophylla burst into bloom. This is another attractive species from
Western Australia. We feel that the Western Australian Melaleucas are one group of native plants with huge horticultural potential. This is home to at least 109 Melaleuca species. Western State
