Week 2 June 2011: Rain = 21 millimetres

There was not a lot of outside activity at Yallaroo this week. The cold and windy weather was not conducive to gardening.

We did manage to do some weeding in preparation for planting and some potting-on. Struck Saltbush (Atriplex nummularia) cuttings were potted on into tubes as were seedlings of Eucalyptus macrandra.

We also braved the weather and picked all the Persimmons from our tree. There were at least 100 ripe fruit on this plant. They were stored in our fridge. They keep well if kept cool.
New on the Site: Correa Kiss-me-Kate and Correa Marianne.
