Week 1 June 2010: Rain = 34.5 millimetres   More great rain. Water has started to run into our big dam.

Planting total this week = 27. This completed a large garden bed close to our grey water tank. This garden is now home to about 200 plants.

The rain brought out the Swift Moths again. After the rain there were large numbers on our lounge room window at night.

This week friends gave us a CD with photos of a trip we did to the Kimberley area of Western Australia about 15 years ago. The photos brought back many memories.

One day we harvested all the fruit off our pomegranate shrub. Each fruit was split open and the juicy seeds extracted. The seeds were bagged and placed in the freezer. They will see us through the year until the next harvest.
