L.CuGlow.JPG (53871 bytes)Leptospermum Copper Glow: is a member of the Myrtaceae family and thought to be a form of Leptospermum polygalifolium.

Leptospermum Copper Glow is a rounded shrub that may reach a height of three metres. The stems are reddish and the leaves are small, copper coloured and narrowly elliptical. Flowers are rather small and white.

The dark foliage is an eye-catching feature that contrasts with the more “conventional” foliage colours of other shrubs in the garden.

Leptospermum Copper Glow could be cultivated as a screening or hedge plant. Our specimens are not damaged by frost and are extremely drought resistant.

Propagation must be from cuttings in order to preserve the distinctive foliage colour.
