Leptospermum Cardwell is a medium shrub that will reach a height of two metres with pendulous branches. The leaves are narrow, up to 20 millimetres long and 1.5 millimetres wide. They are smooth and pointed.

Flowers are white, about ten millimetres in diameter and appear in spring. The blooms are both prolific and very conspicuous. They cover the branches and hide the foliage.

Leptospermum Cardwell is an outstanding shrub and is one of the best Australian Tea Trees. When in flower specimens light up the garden.

Tip prune to encourage dense growth and bounteously blooming.
