bellidifolia: is a member of the
Goodeniaceae family. This Goodenia is a dwarf perennial shrub with oval
basal leaves. Leaf margins may be entire or toothed. Yellow flowers are
carried on stems up to 40 centimetres long. Each stem carries a large number
of blooms in spring and summer. Plants may spread by runners. Goodenia
bellidifolia was cultivated in England as early as 1823. Rockeries and
native cottage gardens would welcome the inclusion of this Goodenia. The
species is common in the Yallaroo bushland.
Propagate from seed or cuttings of the runners.
